Booking and Payment

Providing accurate and complete information during the booking process is essential to help us deliver seamless service and tailor the tour to your needs. Once your booking is received, our team will confirm your reservation and assist with any further arrangements to ensure your satisfaction.

Cancellations and Refund Policy

We understand that travel plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to offer flexibility while allowing us to manage resources and schedules effectively.

  • Customer Cancellations:

    • Cancellations made 24 hours or more before the tour start time will receive a full refund.

    • Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled start are non-refundable due to short notice and associated costs.

  • Company Cancellations:

    • Skual Tours reserves the right to cancel a tour due to unforeseen circumstances, such as severe weather, safety concerns, or insufficient bookings.

    • In such cases, guests will be offered a full refund or the option to reschedule or join an 4.

Changes to Booking

We understand that travel plans can shift, and we aim to be as flexible as possible while maintaining smooth operations.

Customer Requests:
Guests may request to modify their booking up to 48 hours before the tour date. All change requests are subject to availability and may result in additional charges, depending on the nature of the request (e.g., adding participants, adjusting duration, or changing destinations).

Company Adjustments:
Skual Tours reserves the right to make minor changes to the itinerary if necessary, such as changes in timing or locations due to weather, road conditions, or local events.
If a significant change is required (e.g., major activity or accommodation substitution), we will notify you as soon as possible. Guests will have the option to:

  • Accept the revised itinerary

  • Choose an alternative tour of equal value

  • Cancel the booking and receive a full refund

Health and Safety

Your health and safety are our highest priority. To ensure we can accommodate your needs, we collect relevant health and dietary information at the time of booking.

Medical Conditions:
Please inform us of any medical conditions, allergies, or dietary restrictions when booking. This enables us to plan appropriately and ensure your comfort and safety during the tour.

Safety Compliance:
All guests must follow the safety instructions provided by our guides. Skual Tours is not responsible for any accidents, injuries, or property loss resulting from failure to comply with safety guidelines or personal negligence.

Liability

While we strive to ensure a smooth and safe journey, there are circumstances beyond our control that may affect your experience.

Company Liability: Skual Tours is not liable for:

  • Injuries, accidents, delays, or losses due to third-party service providers (transport, accommodation, etc.)

  • Natural disasters, political unrest, or unforeseen circumstances such as weather or illness

  • Cancellations or disruptions due to factors beyond our control

Customer Responsibility:
Guests are responsible for their own actions and personal belongings throughout the tour. We highly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance covering medical needs, lost luggage, trip interruptions, and personal liability.

Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that all participants obtain travel insurance before their trip. Insurance should cover:

  • Medical emergencies

  • Trip cancellations or delays

  • Personal accidents

  • Loss or damage of personal belongings

Skual Tours does not provide travel insurance and is not responsible for any costs or losses that could have been covered under an appropriate policy.

Code of Conduct

At Skual Locals, we are committed to providing a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all guests, guides, and community members. We strictly prohibit the following behaviors:

  • Sexual harassment or misconduct

  • Discrimination or abuse based on gender, age, race, ethnicity, religion, beliefs, disability, sexual orientation, or identity

  • Aggressive, threatening, or disrespectful behavior toward any individual, including fellow guests, guides, and local community members

  • Any form of child abuse, exploitation, or inappropriate behavior toward minors, including taking unauthorized photos of children, giving gifts without local guidance, or engaging with children without supervision

Any violation of this policy may result in immediate removal from the tour without refund or prior warning. In serious cases, legal action may be taken, and we reserve the right to report incidents to the relevant authorities.

Child Protection Commitment

We are committed to protecting children and young people from harm. Guests are expected to:

  • Avoid initiating physical contact with children

  • Never be alone with a child without supervision

  • Refrain from offering money or gifts directly to children

  • Report any concerns about child safety to the guide or Skual Locals staff immediately

By participating in a Skual Locals tour, you agree to uphold this Code of Conduct at all times
