A Community of Learning, A Future of Growth
It was an honour to be hosting guiding session at APOPO Visitor Center, Siem Reap
It was another remarkable milestone for Skual Tours alongside the APOPO Visitor Center. Our founder, Mony, was honored to be invited to facilitate a Guiding Skills workshop for the APOPO Visitor Center guiding team.
The workshop was a resounding success, filled with engaging discussions, shared learning, and meaningful conversations. We truly appreciate the enthusiasm and active participation of everyone involved, and we hope the skills and ideas explored together will contribute to creating even more memorable experiences for future visitors.
Immersive Art Tour 2025
The Immersive Art Tour is a uniquely designed collaboration between Phare Ponleu Selpak and Skual Tours, created to welcome travelers visiting Battambang during Phare’s S’art Urban Art Festival 2025. This Art Festival is celebrated every two years in Battambang.
The tour beautifully integrates a guided journey with live theater performances by Phare students. Starting at Sangke Pagoda, the route takes you to the Lord of Battambang’s Residence, the Old Cinema, and Kondal Pagoda. Along the way, the tour uncovers the hidden history of Battambang, connecting historic events with local stories.
Guiding sharing session at the Buddhist University of Battambang
On May 20th, 2026, we were invited by the Preah Sihanouk Raja Buddhist University of Battambang to share our guiding experiences with students who are studying part-time English in the SLEP program. There were approximately 40 students participating in this session.
Our Guide Training
Skual Tours works with freelance guides, most of whom are students in Battambang. Our guides must go through the Skual Tours recruitment process. They are walked through our training following the Skual Tours Standard Operating Procedure. Guides need to attend at least one Tour Guide Training workshop and pass through the Skual Tours training process under the supervision of our operations manager for their tour assessment before they are able to lead tours.
